These ‘lil guys are from my Pear Cactus mother plant. They aren’t gorgeous, as you can see in the photos, but they will grow into great pear cactus plants and produce edible fruit given the right conditions. These plant enjoy 6-8 hours of direct sunlight, well draining soil, and regular waterings every 2 weeks. Water once a month in winter. The prefer warmer temperatures and cannot survive Michigan winters, though setting your pot outside during the summer and fertilizing during those months will help promote fruiting in the plant’s maturity.
